About Me:

I have two modes. I’m either in Silly Mode or Serious Mode. In Silly Mode everything is a joke or sarcastic, and includes funny voices, faces, impressions, a “let’s go act crazy in public and if you didn’t know me, you’d probably think I’m intoxicated” mode.
Then there’s Serious Mode where nothing I say is kidding, everything is passionate, and mostly a “I wanna save the world, angry, why is nobody doing anything about it mode.”

Sometimes I don’t know if I’m a realistic idealist or an idealistic realist. Some days I am so aware of the realness of life that it’s all I can comprehend and then somedays I get lost in my imagination, where all I believe is what could be.
— Ash Soular
I’m one of those people who make you wonder why you ever put up with them but then they do something amazing and then you’re like, “Oh yeah, that’s why”
— Ash Soular
I think I fall in love whenever I see someone genuinely smile.
— Ash Soular
I like to live dangerously, not stupidly. I have learned there is a difference.
— Ash Soular
It’s a mark of pure genius when you have a lot of typos it means you are thinking at a faster rate than any human could possibly type and that you are too focused on your next great feat to go back and check if your spelling was correct.
— Ash Soular
I wish I could concentrate on one idea long enough to see it through, but it just happens that whenever I begin to work on one thing I get inspired to do an even greater thing and then I must leave and do that instead.
— Ash Soular
Sometimes the “imperfections” people think they have are my absolute favorite features about them. I love novelty and originality. Having an imperfection makes you different from the norm and that makes you incredibly attractive to people like me who find the ordinary to be a bit dull

About God:

God appeared to his daughter and said, “My child, here is a guitar, take it and go out and save the world.” The young lady took the guitar and said “Ok God, but couldn’t you give me a lil more to work with?” And God replied, “Yes I could, but it wouldn’t make such a good story.”
— Ray Soular (my dad)
God doesn’t tell us over and over again “Do Not Fear” so you can live a “safe” life. He tells us this because we are supposed to be going out taking risks, having adventures, meeting opposition and conquering it. He tells you not to fear because you are supposed to be going out of your comfort zone often when you decide to follow Him. Ask yourself...Am I really following Yeshua or am I just playing it safe?
— Ash Soular
Follow Yeshua, if you want to live an adventure. If you are a believer and you are not having any adventures you might want to consider what you’re doing wrong. He’s ready to send you on a mission to go to the unknown, the unsafe, the unfamiliar and to be a rebel against the world. Why are we told over and over to have faith, to trust Him, to endure, to not fear? Do you say these things to people who plan to live safe, uneventful lives? No, you say this to those who have been called to be champions and warriors. He is calling The Remnant, are you ready?
— Ash Soular
If you’re following Yeshua and your life is boring...you’re doing it wrong.
— Ash Soular
God isn’t boring, people are boring.
— Josie Jaramillo (my grandma)
I believe in God and the bible but I don’t identify with any religion or religious group. You shouldn’t have to say what religion you are for people to know what you believe in. How you live your life should speak loud enough.
— Ash Soular
When it comes to the bible, what if we welcomed tough questions and when we didn’t have an answer could honestly admit it and then encourage and challenge someone to try to find an answer. Imagine how much we could know if we could just admit that we don’t know.
— Ash Soular
God changes the world through us, God saves the world through us, God loves the world through us. So stop sitting around waiting for God to fix everything, He gave you two hands, go help somebody up, He gave you a mouth, go speak up for the oppressed, He gave you feet, go run to someone’s rescue.
— Ash Soular
What if before we judged with our lips, we extended our hand?
— Ash Soular
I like to read the bible when I eat, it feels like like I’m feeding two things at once.
— Ash Soular
I’ve noticed that God likes to wait til the very last minute to do His miracles.
— Ash Soular
Your testimony is your struggle, don’t hide it because you are afraid of not looking perfect, there are a lot more imperfect people in this world who are looking for somebody they can relate to.
— Ash Soular
What do I desire most out of life, love and religion? Something real...
— Ash Soular
Things that should never be lacking in life, love and religion: transparency, passion, mission, risk and adventure.
— Ash Soular
I realize we can’t save anyone, we can give them a good reason to seek the one who can.
— Ash Soular
It’s our love that brings them in, and our walk that shows them why we love.
— Ash Soular
I am Pro-Respecting People but Anti-Politically Correctness. We should be able to boldly proclaim what we believe but still respect those who disagree.
— Ash Soular
I find it funny when believers try so hard to be politically correct, when the Bible is probably the most politically incorrect book.
— Ash Soular
I believe that God gives you all the desires of your heart when you desire Him with all your heart.
— Ash Soular
Have the relationship with God that you want others to have.
— Ash Soular
I think people should embrace the desire God gave them to be different.
— Ash Soular
The people who have inspired me the most are those who broke the mold and embraced their uniqueness. Don’t try to be anyone else, God made YOU to be amazing at something only YOU can do. Don’t be afraid to shine at it.
— Ash Soular
God’s way is the only way that works, everything else just puts on a good show.
— Ash Soular
The bible says Moses was the most humble man, I think it was because he could be told stuff like “See, I have made you a God to Pharaoh” (Exodus 7:1) and not let it go to his head.
— Ash Soular
The way your body thrives is by eating a healthy diet and getting enough exercise. That’s the secret to a thriving soul as well. Prayer is exercise, the more we do it, the stronger and more conditioned we make our spirit. The Word of God is our food, the more we consume, the more spiritual nutrients we get to keep building a healthy, sound and beautiful spirit.

The only other secret to health is getting sufficient rest but God took care of that too by giving us His Shabbat
— Ash Soular
Worship is not something we turn on and turn off, it’s something we live.
— Ash Soular
You become like the one you worship.
— Ash Soular
God has given each of us a special task to fulfill in this life. He knew what flaws we were going to have, He knew what mistakes we were going to make but He also knew we were going to be able to be successful despite all of them.
— Ash Soular
Happiness is doing what you want to do.
Joy is doing what God wants you to do.
Heaven is doing what God wants you to do and it’s also what you want to do.
— Ash Soular
The goal is to be able to pray for what you want so that God gets what He wants too.
— Ash Soular
Sometimes we’re called to pray and sometimes we’re called to act. But never act without praying and never pray without acting.
— Ash Soular
Its impossible to find infinite satisfaction in anything finite.
— Ash Soular
The fact that God is good and can only do good is always my comfort.
— Ash Soular
The more you know doesn’t make you more righteous, it just makes you more accountable.
— Ash Soular
Yeshua never said go out and make believers, He said go out and make disciples.
— Ash Soular
Sometimes we just need someone to just sit down and talk to us as a friend, not a “sinner”, like Yeshua did.
— Ash Soular
Trying to understand God’s glory is like looking at a picture of a sunset. When we read the bible we get an idea of what He’s like, we can tell He’s good, but just like we can’t fit the beauty of a sunset in to a small photo, we can’t fit the glory of God into our small heads.
— Ash Soular
Sometimes I would get upset because situations in my life weren’t fair. I would get so angry and cry out to God, “How could you let this happen?” Until I realized, it wasn’t fair what He went through either. It wasn’t fair that He died and I got to live. It wasn’t fair that He was tortured and embarrassed for a crime He didn’t commit. It wasn’t fair that He loved me with everything He had and I broke His heart.
I realize now He could have chosen to make life fair, but instead He made it unfair so He could save my life, and for that I will not be upset, but forever grateful.

About Life and Success:

There are the things, and then there are people who talk about doing the things, and then there are the people who do the things, and then there are the people who talk about the people who do the things. I like the people who do the things.
— Ash Soular
I think its impossible to be inspirational without being outspoken and taking a stand. Nobody ever inspired me by being politically correct and safe.
— Ash Soular
No one ever inspired anyone by being mediocre.
— Ash Soular
Tell me something and I’ll remember you for a moment,
Involve me in something and I’ll remember you for a season.
Make me feel something and I’ll remember you forever.
— Ash Soular
We succeed only after many failed attempts.
— Ash Soular
If at first you don’t succeed try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try try again, and if that doesn’t work then you just suck.
— Tianna Armendariz (my cousin)
You know that guy who changed the world by playing it safe? Yeah, me either.
— Ash Soular
Those who live within a box will only be able to reach for things that are in the box.
— Ash Soular
Don’t get offended, unless you are going to do something about it.
— Ash Soular
What good is knowledge if it doesn’t generate an action?
— Ash Soular
There are worse things than having nothing and being unhappy, like having everything and being unhappy.
— Ash Soular
If we can’t find joy when there is little, we will not find joy when there is much.
The more transparent we are, the more free we become.
— Ash Soular
The reward in living truthfully is that, although someone may hate you for it, you will also discover those who will love you for it, and those who love you will in return encourage you to be even more you.
Strive to be an encourager, by helping others shine, you shine the brightest.
— Ash Soular
I’ll consider what you say when I see what you do.
— Ash Soular
The one who forgives has the power.
— Ash Soular
Some people are needy for your things, and some people are needy for your time. You can still be a giver even if your hands are empty, as long as your heart is full.
— Ash Soular
You know what makes me sad about funerals (besides the obvious) is that everybody gets together to say how much they loved and appreciated that deceased person but unfortunately it’s too late and that person will never know how much they were truly loved. I wish we would make it a point to say the words we would say at a funeral to the person when they’re still alive.
Everyone is so serious - maybe we’d all get along better if we could start by praising each others strengths, and laughing or singing or dancing, and then when it came down to our differences we could see them through love.
— Ash Soular
You should never fear failure, you should only fear regret.
— Ash Soular
Life isn’t about knowing everything before you start living, it’s about starting with a dream, embarking on the mission, realizing you can’t do it alone and then inviting others to help you get there.
— Ash Soular
You rarely know when you’re making an unforgettable memory, it’s not until you can look back and reflect that you realize how special it was.
— Ash Soular
What you say speaks softly, what you do speaks louder, who you are speaks loudest.
— Ash Soular
I always say we shouldn’t judge people, but I have a hard time not judging, judgmental people.
— Ash Soular
First they will laugh at you, then they will follow you.
— Ash Soular
If you think you can achieve your dreams, you’ve set your sights too low.
— Ash Soular
I don’t get stressed out, I just get stuff done.
— Ray Soular (my dad)
Respect the rules of someone’s house otherwise don’t go in it.
— Ash Soular
I am pretty sure everyone who is brainwashed doesn’t think they are brainwashed
— Ash Soular
Unsuccessful people discourage others from achieving excellent things, but successful people will not only tell you you can do it, but will then challenge you to dream even bigger.
— Ash Soular
Surround yourself with those who are going places, inspire those who are stuck, lend your hand to those who never got a good start, and pray for those who refuse to try.
— Ash Soular
It’s only impossible until you do it.
— Ash Soular
Not everyone will change the world, it’s only a few, the awe-SOME.
— Ash Soular
Have you ever had a hater in your life? Well, no worries, I made a list of sure fire way to avoid getting anymore HATERS forever!

Simply:
Don’t stand for anything
Don’t stand up for anything
Don’t ever attempt to do anything great
Don’t do anything great
Don’t be original
Don’t be happy
Don’t be successful
Don’t pursue your dreams
Don’t have goals
Don’t think differently
Don’t be awesome
Don’t be amazing
Be average and mediocre

Follow these steps and you’ll find that nobody will want to hate on you ever again because haters only hate on people who are doing something with their lives.

Remember that haters are never doing better than the one they are hating on. Now go do something great.
— Ash Soular
I would be so much happier to find a worm inside my apple than 48 different kinds of chemicals...just saying.
— Ash Soular
I really don’t know, I just know what I know, you know?

About Art and Music:

The mind and the heart of a songwriter are never at rest, but we will gladly take up this cross over and over for the chance to create something that might connect us all a little closer to one another.
— Ash Soular
Good art has a connection that is three dimensional, from the artist to the people, the people to the artist, and finally the people to each other.
— Ash Soular
I’m convinced what determines a hit song is neither the melody, the hook or the talent of the musician, but it’s ability to connect to the emotions of it’s listeners.
— Ash Soular
They say anyone can pick up a guitar and play the blues, I say anyone can pick up a guitar and play notes, it takes years, dedication, practice and most importantly heart to play the blues. Just like with God, anyone can pick up a bible, quote a few versus, but it too takes years, dedication, practice and most importantly your heart to become a true disciple of Yeshua.
— Ash Soular
I’ve realized that that my walk with God is a lot like playing the blues. There’s only a few chords, a simple scale, but within those few simple notes, you can spend the rest of you life figuring out how to make them work and most importantly how to put your whole heart into it.
— Ash Soular
If you’re not making faces when you’re playing a guitar solo, you’re doing it wrong.
— Ash Soular
Those who can naturally go to sleep before midnight and wake up before noon are clearly not musicians.
— Ash Soular
Never let us be without the artists, the musicians, the sculptors, the builders, the writers, the photographers, the designers, the thinkers and all of those who remind us that we’re not alone and that there is beauty to be seen everywhere.
— Ash Soular
There is so much beauty in the world. I just want to capture it all and then show everyone who doubts it.
